One person dead after single car crash in Cumberland County

NORTH MIDDLETON TOWNSHIP, Pa.– A person is dead after a single vehicle crash late Sunday evening in Cumberland County.

Police responded to a call at approximately 10:25 p.m. for a crash at Enola and Cranes Gap Road.

When they arrived at the scene, they found an orange 2004 Pontiac Grand Am that had struck a tree. The vehicle was split in two and the deceased driver was found to be trapped in the driver’s seat.

As of now, the identity of the deceased has not been released and is pending until family members are notified.

The accident is currently under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call the Northern Middleton Township Police at 717-243-7910.
