EAST PENNSBORO, TWP, Enola, Pa- A Duncannon man fled from police as they were investigating a domestic assault.
Police arrested 34-year-old Chad Smith and charged him with fleeing to elude police, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, DUI, simple assault and harassment.
According to police, officers were flagged down by a female on May 7th who claimed she was just assaulted in the vehicle she had been riding in.
While the officer was taking the woman’s statement, the suspect, Smith, drove past. When the officer tried to stop him Smith sped off at a high rate of speed.
Smith was located a short time later along the 700 block of Shaffer Street in Enola and taken into police custody.
