LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. - Spooky Nook Athletic Complex is the home to the USA women's field hockey team. The women practice, play and even eat meals there. On the team are two Lancaster County natives.

Defender Alyssa Manley and forward Jill Witmer both grew-up in Lancaster County.

They have made the traveling USA women's field hockey team. By July 4, the final roster for who is going to Rio, and the Olympics, will be announced.

"Just knowing now that my daughter has a shot at that. It’s almost indescribable to think that she has that chance of being there and to be able to watch her. You don’t have enough words to say," said Witmer's mother Judy.

The team heads to Holland this weekend. They will play the Dutch Women's National Team June 8 and 10. Then they will play for the Champions Trophy in London. After those games they will be home to play India twice and Canada. Then, it is off to Rio!
