LANCASTER, Pa. – A Lancaster man is charged with Simple Assault, after allegedly stabbing a woman in the ear with a fork.

The incident happened Wednesday afternoon in the 600 block of East Marion Street. Police 62 year old John S. Barton, III, stabbed the victim during an argument.  The victim a 31 year old woman, also suffered lacerations on her chest and scratches on her left arm in the attack. She was treated at a local hospital for her injuries.
