LANCASTER, Pa. – Hazardous material crews respond to a fuel oil spill in downtown Lancaster. It happened at about 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of N. Christian and E. King Streets. An unknown amount of oil was spilled during a delivery.
Hazmat crews have deployed absorbent material and a vaccum truck in an effort to prevent the oil from entering a nearby storm drain.
In the meantime, traffic in the first block of East King Street between Queen Street and Duke Street has been reduced to one lane.
