SEVEN VALLEYS, Pa. -  A baby in York County made a very special entrance into the world last week. Tri-County Ambulance in Seven Valleys usually takes expectant mothers to the hospital for delivery, but little Ethan Lazarek made his appearance inside the emergency vehicle.

When his mother, Kate Lazarek, realized she wasn't going to make it to the hospital in time, she called for the ambulance, which would become a labor and delivery room.

"We're really thankful that they all showed up ," Ethan's father Matt Lazarek said, "There were no complications. They all did a great job. "

On Saturday, little Ethan and his family reunited with the volunteers to thank them for their help.

"I really appreciate getting to meet them," Chief EMT Scott Zeigler said, "because [many] times we don't get to see or meet people after certain things and you'd like to. And with this being a special occasion, it's really great."

Baby Ethan is doing just fine. He was given a Certificate of Recognition from the ambulance crew.
