BREEZY, LESS HUMID: A quieter pattern slides in for the first half of the work week, but it will not come without shower chances. Some sunshine begins Monday, but clouds build during the afternoon. A few isolated showers are possible, but they fade during the evening. It’s a bit breezy, with afternoon high temperatures in the upper 70s to middle 80s. Tuesday brings much of the same as weak cold front slides through. Morning sun gives way to afternoon clouds and the chance for a few afternoon thunderstorms. A few thunderstorms could produce some gusty winds and small hail. Highs are near 80 degrees. It remains less humid and breezy.
COOLER, DRIER: Cooler air slides in, but shower chances remain for Wednesday. Skies begin mostly clear and then turn partly sunny. A few afternoon showers are likely, with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Thursday features more sunshine and no shower chances. It’s still cool, with highs in the lower to middle 70s. Friday the slow warming continues. Highs are in the middle to upper 70s with a few extra clouds.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: We’re watching shower chances for the weekend. Saturday appears to be the day we’ll monitor for showers and thunderstorms. It’s a bit warmer, with highs near 80. Highs remain near 80 degrees Sunday, and skies dry out.
