EAST HEMPFIELD, TWP, Pa- The coroner was called to a two vehicle crash in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, Wednesday morning.
The crash happened at 7:11 a.m. Wednesday along Columbia Avenue near Park Circle Drive. Just North of the Centerville EXIT.
East Hempfield Township police say one car was traveling eastbound along Columbia Avenue when for unknown reasons veered into the westbound lane slamming head on into a pick-up truck.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two males were in the pickup truck at the time of the crash, they were transported to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment.
The names of the individuals involved is being withheld pending family notification.
Police are still investigating the crash.
