BERRYSBURG BOROUGH, Pa. — State Police accuse a woman of obstructing a child abuse investigation by telling the children involved not to cooperate during interviews with Child Protective Services and State Police. Ashley Watts, 30, is accused of intimidating two girls, ages 12 and 13, in order to protect her husband, Timothy Marlin Watts, who was arrested in May and charged with raping and sexually assaulting the victims over a two year time period.

Ashley Watts faces multiple charges of intimidation, retaliation and obstruction in child abuse cases, all felonies. She is in Dauphin Prison on $25,000 bail. Watts is to have no contact with the victims.
