CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Fire Marshal is investigating a fire that left a Hampden Township couple homeless.
Firefighters responded at about 12:15 pm. to the fire in the 6400 block of Lexington Drive. The residents of the single ranch home called 911 to report the fire. Flames were pouring from garage when firefighters arrived on the scene. The fire spread from the garage to the attic of the attached home. More manpower was called in to fight the blaze which was under control in about twenty minutes.
There was no estimate of damage.
