PERRY COUNTY, Pa. - 20 people are homeless following a fire at an apartment in Perry County. The fire broke at about 2:30 p.m. in building 3 at Pfautz Rentals on Suzanne Drive in Penn Township, just outside of Duncannon.
The first firefighters on the scene reported heavy smoke pouring from the building. A call was sound for additional units for manpower. The fire was under control in about half a hour.
There were no reported injuries. A State Police Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
