MANCHESTER TWP., York County, Pa. — Police are still trying to determine the identity of the body found at the Penn Waste recycling center Saturday. An autopsy was performed this morning and the coroner says the cause and manner of death are pending additional tests. It appears the man was dead for a few days. The death is still considered suspicious.

Officials say the body was discovered by employees sorting recyclables on a conveyor belt just before Noon at Penn Waste Recycling Center along the 3600 block of Mia Brae Drive in York County.

Officials say they are working to identify the male, determine where the body came from and find out when the body  arrived at the facility.

The recycling facility accepts recyclable from southeastern Pennsylvania waste haulers and commercial businesses.

An autopsy is scheduled for early next week. Northern York County Regional Police are investigating.

Anyone with information is urged to call Northern York regional Police at 717-292-3647.
