SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Dante Kaleek Darby, age 32, of Shippensburg, was sentenced Monday to 10 years in prison by United States District Court Judge John E. Jones, III in Harrisburg, for distribution of cocaine hydrochloride.
According to the United States Attorney Darby previously pleaded guilty to distribution of cocaine hydrochloride in December 2015. Darby, in his plea, acknowledged distributing cocaine hydrochloride in Franklin County on four separate occasions, September 2012, March 2013, August 2013 and October 2013.
Darby was indicted by a federal grand jury in Harrisburg in May 2014, as a result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police and the Franklin County Drug Task Force.
