YORK, Pa.-- Eating is a big part of how you can maintain your overall wellness.

It can be hard to manage your diet when meals and snacks take a long time to prepare.

Today, Mindy Quesenberry from MyFitnessQuest and her son Ryder are showing us how to prepare Peanut Butter Energy Bites.

The recipe can be found below:

Use 2/3 cup creamy peanut butter, 1 cup old fashioned oats, plus extra for rolling, 1 1/2 tablespoons honey, 1/4 cup miniature chocolate chips, plus extra for rolling, and 1/4 cup flax seeds (optional).

First, mix all of the above ingredients together nicely in a bowl.

Then, roll them into balls about the size of a silver dollar.

After the bites are formed into perfect little balls, roll them in oats and chocolate chips, and they are ready to serve!
