Lemoyne woman’s lie which led to arrest of 70 year old man, charged

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. – On Tuesday, June 7, 52-year-old Renee Marie Trimmer of the 100 Block of South Fifth Street in the Borough of Lemoyne contacted the West Shore Regional Police to report finding a set of keys inside her residence that did not belong to her.  This report lead to the arrest of a 70 year old male for Criminal Trespass.

The investigation continued and it was discovered that Trimmer had continually lied to the police and was with the male through-out the day on June 7th.  Trimmer was taken into custody on Wednesday June 15, and charged with Falsely Incriminating Another Person.

The original Criminal Trespass charges against the 70 year old male have been formally withdrawn and he is being listed as the victim of this crime.
