Lititz man facing charges after being found unconscious in Sheetz bathroom

WEST HEMPFIELD, TWP.– A Lititz man is facing public drunkenness and possession of drug paraphernalia charges after being found unconscious in a Sheetz bathroom on Saturday.

Charles Anton, 37, was found laying on the bathroom floor of the 4010 Columbia Ave. Sheetz location. After police were called and dispatched to the scene shortly after 12:30 p.m., the victim was found to have regained consciousness and was entering a vehicle when authorities stopped him.

During their investigation, police determined that Anton was under the influence of heroin and had thrown away a hypodermic needle in the restroom.

Anton was taken into custody, processed and released to a family member, and will now face charges.
