HAMPDEN TWP., Cumberland County, Pa. — A 15 year old girl says she was abducted Saturday. Her family reported the girl missing after she failed to show up for work at Hampden Township Pool. Police attempted to track the girl’s cell phone and canvassed the neighborhood along with many other missing persons protocols law enforcement uses in missing persons cases. The girl called her family Saturday evening and they picked her up near her home. On social media Sunday, the girl reported she was abducted.

Hampden Township Police say they take such reports seriously and are still investigating, but say they do not believe there is a threat to the community.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Hampden Township Police at 717-761-2609.
