MIDWEEK BREAK: A bubble of high pressure briefly builds in, and this brings a return to dry conditions Wednesday and Thursday. Humidity levels drop a bit too. Highs run near or slightly below seasonable high temperatures for this time of year. Readings are in the upper 70s to lower 80s on Wednesday, and then in the lower to middle 80s on Thursday.
WEEKEND STORM CHANCES: Our next cold front brings a return to shower and thunderstorm chances as we welcome the month of July. On Friday, the cold front brings the chance for showers and thunderstorms. The mugginess is back, with temperatures in the lower to middle 80s. Saturday an isolated shower or thunderstorm is still possible, but it looks like a mainly dry day. There’s still the chance for a few thunderstorms Sunday. Highs are in the lower to middle 80s through the 4th of July weekend.
