Third victim’s name released in Franklin County triple homicide

MONTGOMERY TWP., Franklin County, Pa. — State Police have released the name of the third person killed in a triple homicide in Franklin County Saturday night. Brandon Cole, 47, of Fayetteville, was found dead inside a barn at a property on Welsh Run Road. State Police were called to the property for a report of shots fired around 11:30pm Saturday.

Cole and Wendy Chaney, 39, of Hagerstown, were both found dead inside the barn. A third man, Phillip Jackson, was found severely injured by a gunshot. Jackson, 39, later died at York Hospital, where he was flown for treatment.

State Police say the motive is unknown at this time and are currently investigating.
