LANCASTER, Pa. — A month-long investigation results in two arrests for a May 24 robbery of a Millersville bank, where a teller was knocked to the ground and cash was taken.

Dennison James Wink, 26, of Brownstown, and Christopher Benjamin Jr., 26, of Millersville, are charged with felony robbery of a financial institution and conspiracy.

Both are at Lancaster County Prison – Benjamin on $750,000 bail; Wink on $500,000 bail.

Millersville Borough police Detective Sgt. Jason Scott filed charges after viewing surveillance video, interviewing witnesses, and connecting the Santander robbery to a West Lampeter Township bank robbery on June 7.

Police say Wink drove Benjamin to Santander Bank at 519 Leaman Ave. and dropped off Benjamin. Wink parked the vehicle in a nearby alley and waited.

Inside the bank, Benjamin, dressed in all black and wearing a mask, sprinted to the counter and jumped over it, knocking a teller to the ground. He took cash and fled, running through a shopping center until he reached the getaway vehicle.

On June 7, Benjamin was arrested for robbing a Fulton Bank in West Lampeter Township. Millersville police determined a link between that heist and the Santander robbery.

Benjamin was charged, and an arrest warrant was issued for Wink on June 23. Within hours, Northwest Regional police took Wink into custody as he tried to buy a gun at a shop in Mount Joy Township. The shop’s background check triggered an alert regarding the warrant.
