MOUNTVILLE, Pa. — A Conestoga woman is accused of stealing from the Turkey Hill store where she was an employee. Police say Jennifer Lynn Young, 47, stole $9,252.54 over several months by voiding cash sales and pocketing the money. The thefts were discovered during an audit of the store located at 320 East Main Street in Mountville.

Young allegedly admitted to the thefts when she was interviewed by store associates prior to police being contacted.

Young was taken into custody by Officers and transported to the police station for processing. Police say she had a small medical pill bottle containing suspected Cocaine, and Drug Paraphernalia (Marijuana Smoking Pipe) in her possession.

Young was later turned over to Central Booking at the Lancaster County Prison and held for arraignment on charges of Theft by Unlawful Taking; Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was committed to Lancaster County Prison after failing to post $25,000 bail
