NEW HOLLAND, Pa.– A man is facing charges after burglarizing the Petra Church earlier this month.

Travis Miller, 27, of New Holland is facing burglary, theft, and vandalism charges after stealing cash and causing damage to the church.

Shortly after 4:35 a.m. on June 13, Miller entered the church and broke into several offices where he acquired the cash. After an investigation, Miller was determined to be the suspect of this break-in and police filed charges against him on June 27.

The damage caused to the church is estimated to be over $5,000.

Investigations are ongoing by New Holland Police into other church burglaries in the area.
