STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a “Flood Advisory” for East Central Adams County, Southern Lebanon County, Western York County, Southeastern Dauphin and Northwestern Lancaster County until 6:30 p.m.

At 4:25 p.m., Doppler Radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Rainfall over the past hour or so has totaled nearly 2 inches in some locations near the Harrisburg Metro area; similar amounts are expected across locations just to the south and east of Harrisburg.

Some locations that experience flooding include, Elizabethtown, Palmyra, Middletown, Weigelstown, York, Hummelstown, Mount Joy, Hershey, Lebanon, Manheim, Cornwall, Annville, Spy, Myerstown, Columbia, Hanover, Steelton, Pleasant Hill, Valley Green and Shiloh.
