Watchful neighbor helps police nab two home burglary suspects

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – A watchful neighbor helps police make a quick arrest in an early morning burglary.

The neighbor alerted Swatara Township Police  at 7:36 a.m. of a burglary in progress at 6321 Clearfield Street..  The neighbor called police he saw two black males walk out of the tree line wearing colored hoodies over their faces.

The males walked to the rear of the residence and one of them entered the home through a window. The suspect who entered through the window opened the back door and let the other male inside. They were seen leaving the home several minutes later carrying a safe.

Responding officers apprehended both suspects fleeing the scene and recovered the safe. The suspects identified as Clifford Thomas, Jr., 20 and Lymicc Allen, 19, of Hummelstown were charged with Burglary and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary. Following arraignment both men were sent to Dauphin County Prison.
