LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – Police arrest Dean John Getz, 33, of Leola, in the armed robbery of the BB&T bank branch in Ephrata, Tuesday morning. The bank is located in the 300 block of North Reading Road.
Getz was identified as a suspect through video surveillance footage of the robbery. A warrant was issued for his arrest this morning on a Robbery charge. Getz was located a short time later at motel in Leola where he was taken into custody without incident.
Lititz Borough Police, East Lampeter Township Police, Northern Lancaster Regional Police, Lancaster City Police and the FBI assisted the Ephrata Police with the investigation.
