CARLISLE, Pa. – Carlisle Borough Police have an arrest warrant for 28 year old Michael T. Evans in a shots fired incident. It happen on Sunday 26 outside the Haines Stackfield American Legion Post 826, 142 N. Hanover Street. Police responded to a report of shots and also for a report of a fight inside the Legion.
While the fight is still under investigation, police later determined the two shots fired outside the Legion had been done by Evans.
Evans has prior convictions that prohibit him from firearms possession and use, and police say he was carrying the handgun concealed.
Charges against Evans include Firearms Violations, Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License and Disorderly Conduct.
