SHIPPENSBURG, Pa.–A 22-year-old man is facing numerous charges after police say he tried to pull out a juvenile’s teeth with a pair of pliers last month, according to Shippensburg Police.

Enrique P. Soler Jr., of Shippensburg, is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, receiving stolen property, corruption of minors, conspiracy, unlawful restraint and possession of instruments of a crime.

Police responded to the 300 block of Burd Street on June 24 for a report of a disturbance. Investigators say Soler tried to pull out the victim’s teeth with pliers while three other unidentified juveniles held the victim down.  When police caught up with Soler, they say  he was in possession of stolen bicycle rims.

He was arraigned and has since posted $25,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 18.
