SWATARA TWP., Pa.-- People in Dauphin County enjoyed Sunday's weather with a special community picnic.

The Prince of Peace Parish held its annual picnic at Cibort Park in Swatara Township. It's an East Shore tradition and features ethnic foods, including roasted leg of lamb and roasted pork. The parish pastor says people come from across the area to enjoy what it has to offer.

"People visit from far and wide, from different parts of Harrisburg, they also come from different cities, especially for the food and the music and the fellowship and the friendship they can enjoy here today," said Father Robert Gillelan, Pastor of Prince of Peace Parish.

Those who attended did not have to be a part of the parish to enjoy the festivities, the annual picnic is always free and open to the public.
