WEST DONEGAL TWP., Pa.–UPDATE: A man was killed and two passengers were injured in the Monday morning crash.

Police determined that it was a single car accident, as the Chevy sedan was traveling north on Hess Rd. when it veered off the road and stuck a tree.

Tyler Kobler, 30, of Bainbridge, was the driver in the single car accident, and died as a result of his injuries. Two passengers were in the vehicle, and were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Police continue to investigate what led to the crash. Anyone with information about the crash should contact Officer Seidel or Officer Bryant at Northwest Regional Police Department at 367-8481.

The coroner has been called to the scene of a car crash in Lancaster County.

Officials say that the incident occurred around 1 a.m. Monday, on the 500 block of Hess Rd.

The number of victims and extent of injuries are unknown at this time, but crews took one person to the hospital.
