Man stabbed in Lancaster city

LANCASTER, Pa.–A man was stabbed in Lancaster city on Sunday evening.

Officers responded to the intersection of Lenox Lane and East Grant Street shortly after 6:30 p.m. for a reported stabbing. They found an unidentified adult male nearby with cuts to his face and a stab wound to his torso, according to police reports. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities discovered the victim and the suspect know each other and that the assault does not appear to be random.

Police continue to investigate and are reviewing video footage from the area of the assault.
