Harrisburg, PA – Weather permitting, maintenance crews for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will be working on Sunday morning, July 24, to conduct repairs to pavement joints and also bridge joints on northbound Interstate 81 in the vicinity of I-81 Exit 85 interchange for Route 934 and Indiantown Gap in Lebanon County. Motorists are advised they may encounter a single lane traffic restriction between 6 AM and 12 noon in this portion of northbound I-81. Motorists are asked to be alert to this repair operation, to obey work zone signs, and to slow down when approaching and traveling through the work area – for their safety as well as for the safety of the maintenance crews.
This is the second Sunday in a row for this scheduled repair operation. Maintenance crews worked in this area last Sunday morning, July 17.
