Pedestrian severely injured in hit and run crash in Perry County

Carroll Township, Perry County, Pa.-  Pennsylvania State Police are looking for the person responsible for severely injuring a pedestrian Saturday.

Troopers say a 22 year old man was walking on Youngs Church Road in Carroll Township around 1:20 A.M., when he was struck by a vehicle. They say the vehicle then took off, leaving the victim behind. He was airlifted to Hershey Medical Center. The victim’s name has not been released and there is no word on his condition. Anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to contact Pennsylvania State Police, Newport, at 717-567-3110.
