RED LION, Pa.-- There's nothing like splashing around to stay cool on hot summer days. On Sunday, the splash pad at Fairmount Park in Red Lion, York County was the place to be for youngsters trying to cool off from the 90-degree heat.
They get excited to suit up and have fun while beating the heat.

"It's pretty cool because whenever you're hot you can just come and get wet," said Faith Alicea who was playing at the park.

"It's pretty much free, so, which makes it even better. I like the buckets, it fills up water and then it just dumps," says Zachary Kirchner who was also having fun in the water.

The splash pad has 17-water features to create all sorts of fun for people of all ages.
