DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – A daring daylight burglary in the 700 block of South Harrisburg Street near the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course. Swatara Township Police say it happened between 10:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. on Monday.

The victim told officers that when he arrived home and he saw his 57″ flat screen television lying in the driveway. He then discovered that the front door of his home had been forced open, giving the suspect(s) access to the entire residence. The suspect(s) had already fled the area.

Among the items missing within the home was a “Henry” .22 caliber pump action rifle with scope, a large collection of gold foil stamps, a combination lock safe containing thousands of dollars in various coins and silver bars, numerous DVD’s, and an XBOX One gaming system.
