Man trapped underwater beneath tractor rescued in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – Police and emergency crews responded to a man trapped beneath a tractor that tumbled into a small lake on a Lancaster County farm.  It happened just before 5:30 p.m. at a farm on the 1400 block of Lebanon Road in Rapho Township.

The unidentified victim was pinned by the tractor beneath the water. His head was held up out of the water by those who came to his aid.

A rescue team finally freed the victim. He was checked out by EMS personnel on the scene. No official word on his condition.
