Police are searching for a man who attempted to lure a child into his vehicle.

At about 5:45 p.m. on Monday, the suspect attempted to talk a 14-year-old female into getting into his car while walking in the area of Coral St. and Third St. The girl refused and began to run, so the man followed her for several blocks and was last seen driving north on Ruby St. from Second St.

The suspect is described as a black male that is probably in his 40’s. He’s described as very thin, about 6’2″ and having “bad teeth” that were irregularly shaped and yellow. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and ripped blue jeans. The suspect drove an older model sedan that resembles a Buick Le Sabre with a gold exterior and tan interior.
