Harrisburg police investigate city’s 8th homicide

HARRISBURG, Pa- Police in Harrisburg are currently investigating the city’s 8th homicide.

Police say just before 11:00 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 1900 block of Holly Street for reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived they found the victim suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. He was transported to Hershey Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police have identified the victim but are not releasing his identity until the family has been notified.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone that has any information regarding this incident is asked to call police at 717-558-6900 and ask for a supervisor or supervisor.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident.
