HARRISBURG, Pa. – Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico had issued a public warning about a synthetic marijuana being distributed in the Harrisburg area that is behind a surge of overdose cases.
In the last 2 days, approximately 20 people have been treated in area emergency rooms after suffering from the dangerous effects of these illegal substances. Emergency room doctors have reported that the patients have shown up with advanced delirium and many have had to be revived in the ER. Synthetic marijuana is known by many names and brands including K2, Spice, Darkness, and Space.
Anyone with information on the source of these substances should contact their local police.
