SLOW DRYING: A cold front continues to slowly drift south of the region, and conditions slowly dry through the middle of the week. After some patchy areas of fog during the early to mid morning hours, expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds through the afternoon. An isolated shower or storm is possible, but expect plenty of dry time and sunshine. Temperatures are in the lower to middle 80s. The humidity is down a touch, but it still feels quite muggy.
SUNNY, VERY WARM, MUGGY: Sunny skies are back for Wednesday and Thursday, and it remains quite warm. It’s still muggy as well. Temperatures Wednesday are in the lower to middle 80s, and Thursday temperatures are in the middle to upper 80s. By Friday, our next cold front approaches, and it could bring a late day shower or thunderstorm. Temperatures are near 90 degrees.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Shower and thunderstorm chances continue for Saturday. It’s still hot and stuffy, with readings still hovering near 90 degrees. Some humidity relief is finally in store for Sunday and Monday. Sunny skies return, and temperatures are in the lower to middle 80s both days.
Have a great Tuesday!
