CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. – Middlesex Township Police who rushed to the aid of an overdose victim find themselves unexpectedly dealing with a disgusting situation. The incident began at about 1:06 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at a room at the Holiday Inn Express.  Upon arrival police found David B. Marshall face down on his knees unconscious.

When officers awaken him, Marshall was in a panic grabbing for aerosol cans that were laying all around him. Refusing to calm down at the urging of police, he grabbed a can and shot an officer in the face with pressurized air.

When officers tried to put his hands behind his back, took a can his hand and began huffing it as fast as he could.  An officer knocked the can out of his mouth and placed a handcuff on his right arm. Marshall began to fight and pull away.  Still resisting, he was pushed to the ground at which time he defecated on an officers left leg.  They eventually managed to handcuff him.

Police also began to notice a heavy gas smell in the room.  The officers dragged out of the room for his safety.  Afterwards examining the room, they found that Marshall had defecated all over both beds, the floor and several other surfaces. The hotel also had to remove the air conditioning unit from the wall and have the room decontaminated professionally.
