LEBANON, Pa. – Lebanon City Police are on the lookout for a man who fired several shotgun blasts into the air on Wednesday night.  It happened at about 10:19 p.m. in the area of the 400 block of N. 6th Street.

A witness reported hearing one loud bang then looking out a front window to see a male running with a rifle in his hands. The witness saw the man fire two more rounds pointing the gun up in the air when firing. There was no one else seen in the area.  Police say there were no reported disturbances at that time.

The witness described the man as having a thin build about 5 foot 10 inches tall or taller.  He was wearing a dark grey hooded sweatshirt and dark in color pants.

Police searched the area for victims and/or property damage and did not locate a victim or any property damage. They did recover four expended shotgun shells from the 600 block of Guilford Street.
