HARRISBURG, Pa. – Members of the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrest two York City men, Wendell Montalvo-Montalvo, 21 and James Reddick, 61.

On August 3, York City Police obtained an arrest warrant charging Montalvo-Montalvo with aggravated assault, victim less than 6 and defendant 18 or older, simple assault and endangering welfare of children, parent/guardian/other commits offense.  The warrant stems from the alleged use of physical violence on a child in his care on July 14th.

On August 4, York City Police obtained an arrest warrant charging Reddick with failure to register with the Pennsylvania State Police as part of his Megan’s Law requirement.  Due to his conviction for rape in 1986, Reddick is required to register as a sex offender.  In early July, it is alleged that Reddick failed to comply with this obligation for which an arrest warrant was issued.

Montalvo-Montalvo was located this morning and arrested without incident in the 500 block of West Philadelphia Street.

Reddick was located and arrested without incident in the 300 block of West Market Street.  Both men were turned over to local authorities for processing and court proceedings.
