SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Susquehanna Township Police said Wednesday they are investigating a report of an attempted child luring.

According to investigators, a 14-year-old boy was walking along the 500 block of North Progress Avenue around 7 a.m. Tuesday when a man approached him. The boy told police the man was driving a red, 1990’s model Chevy pickup truck with a standard cab, and offered him a ride.

Police say the boy ran away.

The driver is described as a white man in his 50s with gray hair and a bald spot on top. The boy told police that the man was heavy set and was wearing round black rimmed glasses.

Officers checked the area, but did not find the vehicle.
