CONEWAGO TWP, York Pa- A man is arrested two times within a 24 hour time period  for causing a disturbance and threatening Conewago township supervisors inside a Township Building.

According to Northern York County Regional Police, Chad Michael Stoner and his girlfriend, walked into the township building at 490 Copenhaffer Road shortly after 1 p.m. on August 4th with a gun and a knife.

According to charging documents, Township Manager  Lou Anne Bostic, let  Stoner and his girlfriend inside the locked building where she began talking with him. Stoner was still upset from the night before when he was removed from the Township Meeting and arrested for causing a disturbance and disorderly conduct.

During the conversation, Stoner said that if Lorretta Wilhide, the township supervisor,  “keeps it up, Conewago township was going to be like Houston Texas.” Bostic responded to Stoner by saying she did not know what he meant by the comment, in which Stoner replied “that’s where all the police officers were shot,” charging document state.

During review of surveillance video, police say they could see a silver revolver inside a holster on Stoner’s right thigh. Stoner also had a large sheath knife on his belt.

Stoner and his girlfriend did leave the building without incident and Stoner did not remove the pistol or knife during the incident. Township supervisors did feel threatened by Stoner and his actions.

Northern York County Regional Police arrested Stoner and charged him  with Firearms not to be carried without a license and terroristic threats.

Stoner is currently in York County Prison in lieu of $35,000 bail.
