WEST CORNWALL TOWNSHIP, LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. -- Cornwall Police are on the lookout for a man who walked into a healthcare  facility and took a woman at gunpoint

It happened at the Philhaven facility in West Cornwall Township.

Philhaven is a behavioral healthcare facility which helps people, but Tuesday night they were the ones calling for help.

Around 6:30 pm, 18-year-old Elliot Ravert walked into the healthcare facility and demanded to see a patient.

Cornwall Borough Police Chief Bruce Harris said "at that point, he pulled out a handgun, demanded access to the locked unit, where she was a patient, and told the two nursing staff that were present, that if they did not let him in, he would shoot them."

The secure facility warns against the use of drugs, alcohol, and firearms, but that didn't stop Ravert.

"The staff complied, opened the locked unit, Mr. Ravert went in, located Alicia Buzzard, had the staff again open the door, so he could get out of the facility," Chief Harris said.

That was the last time the two were seen before they took off down the road in a 2004 green Chevy Avalanche pickup truck.

Police don't believe patients here are in any more danger, but a spokesperson for Philhaven said the facility has stepped up security protocols on campus as a precaution.

It's an unusual case which has police asking why.

"We don't know at this point if Alicia Buzzard is in danger, or if she was a willing participant in what occurred. We do have information that at some point, those two did have a relationship," Chief Harris said.

Police have a warrant for Ravert's arrest. He's charged with robbery, aggravated assault and making terroristic threats.

Police haven't identified the type of gun used in the incident, but say Ravert is known to own an airsoft rifle.

Buzzard, is 21-years-old, 5 feet, four inches tall, and weighs 140 lbs.

Police say the 2004 Chevy Avalanche pickup truck had a Pennsylvania registration with the license plate ZGY-3594.

Officials say the suspect may have changed his license plate number since the incident.

Police have received some tips but none has panned out so far.
