Northeast Highs TomorrowThe heat and humidity continue to rise the next several days making it increasingly uncomfortable for long periods of outdoor activity. Highs tomorrow warm into the lower 90s.

Dew points stay in the 70s. When combining the heat and humidity, it will feel much DMA RPM Futurecast Heat Index PMhotter. An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible. Friday is hotter with highs in the lower to middle 90s. The heat index will rise close to 100 degrees for many areas. And, again, the chance for a stray shower or thunderstorm remains.

The stuffy heat and humidity are with us into the weekend. A few showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday. They are more widespread Sunday, as our next cold front swings in from the west. It is hot again with the heat indices approaching 100 degrees for the first half of the weekend. Highs climb to near 90 degrees Sunday but still feeling quite oppressive.

The cold front is a slow mover so showers and thunderstorms are still possible Monday. Temperatures are not as hot but still may manage 90 degrees in spots. Drier air spreads in for Tuesday and Wednesday, lowering the humidity and knocking temperatures back to the lower and middle 80s.
