Police arrest bank robbery suspect dressed as a woman

YORK COUNTY, Pa. -The career of a cross dressing bank robbery suspect comes to an abrupt ending in York County.  At about 9:07 a.m. Wednesday morning, a black male, dressed as a women wearing a long dress and brown wig entered the Americhoice Federal Credit Union at 1 Indian Rock Dam Road, in an attempt to rob the bank.

The bank had the second set of interior doors locked, which prevented the suspect access the lobby. He quickly left the building and was apprehended by York Area Regional Officers Detective Hopple and Officer Zinn approximately 100 yards from the bank on South George Street.

The unidentified suspect was charged with 3 counts of Robbery for the October 28th, 2015 Northwest Bank and July 16th York Traditions Bank.  Following arraignment he was sent to York County Prison on 750 thousand dollar bail.
