Students are getting ready to begin another school year, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Education is beginning it’s “Don’t Wait, Vaccinate” campaign.
The campaign is an effort to remind parents to make sure their children’s immunization records are up to date. Officials say it is important for children to get all the required vaccinations in order to prevent the spread of diseases and to protect them from serious diseases.
However, not every parent is in favor of vaccinating their children. In fact, many parents worry that immunizations have unknown effects on young children when they receive their first shots. Yet, immunizations are required for many to attend school.
This leads us to ask, are you in favor of vaccinating your children?
