ELIZABETHVILLE, Pa. – For the second time in less than a month Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the rape of juvenile girl near the Elizabethville Park and Pool.
The 13-year-old victim reported the assault to PSP Lykens at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. She said that she had sexual relations with a 20-year-old man. She told police that the assault occurred in the wooded area adjacent to the park and pool. She said that she and other juvenile girls had interacted with the suspect on multiple occasions at the Elizabethville Pool and Park prior to the sexual assault.
It is the second time that a juvenile female had reportedly been raped in the same area. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact PSP – Lykens at (717) 382-8700.
