HEAT & HUMIDITY: It's back to the oppressive heat and humidity through the rest of the week. Wednesday brings temperatures well into the 80s, with a few locations likely touching the 90 degree mark. Humidity levels are extremely uncomfortable as well. There's the chance for a few stray showers or thunderstorms, but most locations remain dry under partly sunny skies. Thursday brings more hot readings. Temperatures are a little warmer, in the upper 80s to lower 90s. A few pop up shower and thunderstorm chances remain. On Friday, we nudge temperatures up a bit higher. Expect readings in the lower to middle 90s. Heat indices could approach 100 degrees for many.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: The weekend hangs onto the heat and humidity. Saturday is partly sunny, with a few isolated showers and thunderstorms possible. Our next cold front approaches Sunday, bringing more widespread showers and thunderstorms to the region. Highs are in the lower to middle 90s again on Saturday. It's also another day where heat indices could reach 100 degrees. Sunday's shower and thunderstorm chances keeps highs less hot, with readings near 90 degrees.
NEXT WEEK: The cold front slowly crosses through, meaning shower and thunderstorm chances carry over to early next week. Monday continues the chance for widespread showers and thunderstorms. Highs are still near 90 degrees. Tuesday should dry out, with temperatures back into the 80s. The humidity levels come down a bit as well.
Have a great Wednesday!
